A Dressing Guide for Large Women
Once we learn how to be big and beautiful, we should also learn how to properly dress our big and beautiful body. In order to dress well, we should follow a few basic steps that most people overlook when they dress. However, these steps are the key to looking fashionable.
- Dressing for the occasion
We sometimes overdress or underdress for the occasion that we are attending, which is a mistake. In order to look our best, we should always dress accordingly.
- Being neat and clean
Being clean is essential. Even the most expensive clothes can look terrible if they are dirty. So, we should always look neat and clean.
- Taking our size into consideration
When shopping for clothes, we should always pick the right size. Even though we sometimes think that a tighter shirt will make us look more attractive, that’s not the case.
Matching can be tricky, but with a bit of practice, we can master this skill. Going for a specific style or color scheme and sticking to it is a good idea. Also, matching isn’t always about colors; we can match materials and styles, too.
The right pair of earrings or a watch can really make our outfit special and unique. What’s more, by accessorizing, we can take attention away from our problem areas. So, it’s very important to learn how to accessorize our outfits.
We can wear our belt super low, on our hips, or tie a scarf. Also, putting a belt on the smallest part of our waste is another good idea.
Wearing chunky jewelry and interesting shoes is another way to accessorize. We shouldn’t go too crazy, though. Hoop earrings or a necklace will do.
When it comes to bags, we should pick a simple one in basic colors. That will keep us look toned down.
- Being ourselves
We should use fashion to express ourselves, reveal our likes and dislikes, and to have fun. To be fashionable means to be unique. So, we should always try to add a personal touch to all of our outfits.
- Showing off our hips the right way
If we have little hips or no hips whatsoever, showing them off can be a bit tricky. But, we could try nevertheless. Wearing pants that have front patch pockets, pants with side pockets, pants with large belt loops, as well as pants with a lot of design, material, and detail around the hips and pocket areas, will help pull out our hips.
On the other hand, we should avoid wearing pants with no pockets (unless we have very low belt loops and pocket areas).
Also, wearing flared skirts or skirts that have ruffles around the hips will work, too. We just need to make sure that the ruffles aren’t too low, as that would make our thighs look big – not our hips.
- Wearing body-hugging shirts
Our shirts should stick to our body and follow the natural contours of our curves down to our hips. They shouldn’t be too tight, though.
