How to Use Okra

To lose weight, the ideal is to consume raw okra, sautéed or cooked, and may include this vegetable in the preparation of hot dishes, juices or salads.

To prevent the characteristic slime of the okra from being released when it is cooked, you can add a few drops of lemon in your baking or leave the okra soaking in water with lemon or vinegar for about 30 minutes before cooking them.

It is also important to remember that the effect of weight loss is greater especially if the okra is incorporated into a balanced diet and accompanied by regular physical activity practice. To lose weight in a healthy way without harming your health, it is important to have the follow-up of a nutritionist who will prescribe a food plan according to the goals and needs of each individual.
